horses made of tires in alabama, getting lost in new orleans, the gas station across from our hotel got robbed, the rain followed us out of louisiana and into texas, ox bagina, mexican bakeries and fake moustaches, the best mexican food i ever had in a car wash in el paso, driving next to juarez, my first speeding ticket in new mexico, homemade dumplings in tucson, hydroponics and future financial stability, in&out outside of phoenix stood as a beacon of hope, dinosaurs in cabazon (naturally), to los angeles for a week, a haunted house in san jose, cioppino and sea lions in san francisco, getting lost in chinatown, too many wine tastings in napa, moving into a new apartment, the la brea tarpits and american lions, drove down to san diego to see seals and ryan adams, seven miles in griffith park, and now i am finally playing my guitar for the first time in months and, yes, i feel guilty about it, but is there anything better?
